Are you humming the MI theme song? It’s on instant replay in my head today. The funny thing is, I don’t remember accepting all of these “missions”!
First off, I somehow need to make it to a post office either before or after work (lots of March birthdays coming up soon), but before my two youngest get off the bus at home. Then I need to fix dinner, do laundry and clean the house in the 45 minutes prior to leaving to pick up my eldest daughter + 1 friend from their musical rehearsal. Sometime before 3:00 I must also squeeze in a trip to the daycare center to take care of work requests and plead for two hours of childcare for tomorrow afternoon for my own daughters. After returning home, eating dinner and assisting three daughters with regular homework then A2 and I must transform this (minus the kitty)
into a working and tunable and playable cigar box guitar.
IF there is time this morning between getting them on the bus and taking my own shower then I’ll start on the mac & cheese for tonight’s dinner… that should help immensely. Of course that’s assuming we make it to the bus and nobody needs to take Mom’s taxi to school.
I’d also like to find time to fix this mess
On Sunday I tried spinning some silk singles on my Louet wheel. It turned out okay until I dropped the yarn prior to blocking. It immediately started to untwist and turn upon itself, resulting in this wonked out mass of fiber spaghetti. One of my socks in progress also came completely off of the needles during travel so it has a date with a crochet hook to fix the dropped stitches and get it back on track.
What do you think would have happened if Ethan Hunt had said, “No thanks, I’ll pass.”?

Busy, busy, busy! The silk? OMG! I haven’t tried silk, yet, but you’ll have to let me know how it works out. I’ve heard it can be, how you say, difficult?

Yikes! That’s a silken mess! Good luck with that! Beautiful sunrise on the previous post–over here it was followed by a blustery day. Hope you’re well! Love, K

Hey, thanks for stopping by and entering the contest!
Somewhere in the depths of my house, I have red silk hankies – the spinning kind not the blowing kind. If I ever find them, do you want them? They were given to me and I don’t spin – have had them for 3 years now.
You can email me at Ruth AT 5elementknitr DOT com.

Some people see the Virgin Mary on a toasted cheese sandwich, I see the Flying Spaghetti Monster and you MUST send them the silk picture at http://www.venganza.org/
