Whoo hoo hoo hooooo! (Copying Tigger’s exclamation).  We have 9 days off from school/work. Plans for our family include cleaning our house from top to bottom, then organizing/planning schedules and activities for the remainder of the school year. All three girls will be participating in sports so coordinating transportation, meals, etc. will be challenging. In addition to the work part of our break the girls and I are driving out to the coast to visit my family. My DH has to work and can’t get away, besides, it’ll give him some quality alone time with his computer without an extra infusion of estrogen in the atmosphere.

My eldest attended a performance of “Wicked” this past week with a group from her school.  I’d love to take all of the girls to see it but alas, the tickets are mostly sold out and those that aren’t are dreadfully expensive ($85.00 for partially blocked views to $215 each) and we couldn’t sit together.   We’ll have to settle for less-cultured entertainment for the masses.

A plethora of expecting babies where I work and among friends means that knitting projects have taken on a fresh breath.  The largest, yet not the most intricate, is a cotton blanket.  Bonny crashed the would-be photography session this morning. Each time I  dropped her furry arse onto the floor  politely removed her she found her way back into the picture.

Since she insists on being in every picture I’ll have her model the booties, etc. as they’re completed… that’ll learn her.  Although the end recipients might wonder why stray cat hairs adorn their baby’s gifts.  Off to start cleaning. Cheers!

Bonny is such a terrific knitter-helper. I love the blankie. And, have a FABULOUS Spring Break! Major hugs

  2. Love the blankie! And didn’t you know? Everything is better with a kitty.

It’s a fact that white hairs look better on black and vice versa and most cats do their best to maintain this classy look. Bonny’s brogue brown will look so good on the baby blue.
    Cheers Gillian

  4. Enjoy your spring break! Get a bunch of knitting in…especially at the coast! The fresh ocean air can do wonders to inspire you…and you won’t have to worry as much about housework!
    See you soon!

  5. Hope you’re enjoying your days off. I’ve missed your daily insights and seeing progress on your knitted things. See you soon! K
