A Day Off

I don’t remember much of this past month.  While not working I’ve been seeking new, creative ways to be out of the house for hours at a time, entertain my children and not spend any money.  It’s harder than it sounds.  We’ve averaged five to seven showings each week, so the evictions are an almost daily occurrence.  The results are that we’re tired, the viral crud that’s going around has hit us hard and we frequently run out of clean clothes.  In addition, we’ve been trying to jump through all of the international hoops, etc. required to get A1 to Japan next month. Yesterday we had NO SHOWINGS!

I was able to set up some lesson plans,

let A3 sleep (kitties help everyone heal faster),

spin a few yards,

block a shawl,

The animals even enjoyed a break from the stress of having strangers in their home.

We have more people coming by this afternoon, but we’ll leave the house feeling rested (us, not the house) and with clean underclothing! Cheers!

Bless your heart. Tell your realtor that there will be no showings on Wed. and Thur. If someone is going to want the house they will want it on Tuesday or Friday just as much.

Clean underwear is SUCH a treat!

That’s an interesting thought, Roxie. You gotta set some boundaries. Creating so much havoc for so little constructive feedback. Hugs….

OMG! You have a lovely house. I have no advice, but wish you a good solid contract now. Clean undies are not a luxury, but sometimes it feels that way, doesn’t it? And, Thor is a fearsome bud, isn’t he? BTW, the shawl is gorgeous!!!!

  4. Wishing you good luck with the house; hope everyone is on the road to recovery; glad you found a little time to relax (?????). Yikes. Have a great week!
